A large serving bowl made on the potters wheel. I’ve hand painted it with cobalt blue paint brush strokes and speckles. It then has a gold crack which I’ve used a Japanese technique called Kintsugi.
This inspiration behind this bowl has come from the Cornish waves in St Mawes.
This large ceramic bowl is a unique gift for any special occasion.
30cm wide x 12cm high
It is a ‘second’ because there is a glaze error which you can see in the images and the kintsugi gold crack means it is not able to go in the dishwasher. Also, this gold crack was created because the piece cracked in the final firing.
